Hi,

Spring and Summer have sprung in unison! Pools open, dogs are swimming, life's good. Maggie, my German Shepard is now 103lbs and only around 9months old.  Penny is on a diet, she needs to lose 9 more lbs ugh ugh..and Katie is still the bossy granny.

My doggies are in the wet room drying off begging to be allowed in the den. Won't happen for awhile!

I still love Second Life..still working and enjoying every minute of it.  Sometimes I think of the excitement of SL and how things are progressing.

My goal this year was to have a huge garden of flowers. I planted a herb garden, tomato's and sooooo many flowers. I walk outside and see all the flowers in bloom and it smells so good. I have some Jasmine on an arch to the pool and its so fragrant.  I sit out there and read..and It's so relaxing. I want to get a misting system for my flowers to water them all but the ones i have purchased in the past have been flimsy..

I bought some beautiful lit butterflies and balls that are solar so every night it looks like a fairyland.  My one regret is "the bad dog"  (you can guess which one!) loves the taste and scent and i had to keep replacing some at the beginning of  my plants and I did what i said i would never do..i got a tacky wire loopy fence to put around them..its a bit of an eyesore but its better then holes in the ground.

Last weekend there was a long long  150 mile yard sale in Ga.  I went with a friend, we left Friday and started out early Saturday morning on our trek..but the yard sales were a bust..too new i guess. But I went to some flea markets and found an old wicker ornate rocker with a high back..and a great garden center..lots of dif plants about half what i would usually pay.  I ended up in a little town called Sasser and they have about 7 antique and junk stores on their main street.. I found an old mercury light to hang over the sink in the kitchen..love love love it! I did find a table but was too big to carry back awww lol

And on to the web and my favorite site..Pinterest! love it love it love it.  Every night before i go to bed i spend about 30mins getting inspirations. Pinterest makes me want lots of muscles and to eat lots of fatting food... not a good mix lol. http://weightloss.allwomenstalk.com/smoothies-that-aid-in-weight-loss/ is a great site with wonderful smoothies. http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/key-lime-pie-ice-cream-50400000113415/ this looks incredible..i love key lime pie.. I wouldn't put the graham crackers in it...i don't like stuff in my ice cream but i would serve it in little graham cracker tiny pie crust ...yummy:)

I am planning to meet my sisters for Thanksgiving in the mountains of Tenn. I have found a huge house, with an indoor pool and movie room etc and a big kitchen.. and Lots of room to avoid fights lol.  It does seem early but the places are hard to find and easier to plan it early!

Well my inner dinner bell is ringing ..hope all is well and you are all enjoying life..(the two that read my blog lol)

All the leaves are falling..

Hi,

Second Life has been so busy, but you will only hear me say "lucky me"!

Every single tree in my yard has manage to drop 90 percent of the leaves and still the next day 90 percent more show up on the ground...doggone you Mother nature! But I do love this time of year. Fires,(in the fire places) sweaters, winds, 1/99th percent chance of snow...Turky and Christmass trees, pumpkin pie, bread and muffins..yum

I now have 3 dogs; Penny, the precious Golden Retriever, Katie (the grandmother) is a Llywellyn Setter and the new addition is the baby 9 week old Maggie. She is a German Shepard.

They each have their own ways about them. Katie hates aggravation in any form. Penny hates anyone else getting attention (including the computer) and Maggie is in the shark phase. She eats anything left on the counter , stove, floor, sink and dishwasher. Whole sticks of butter with paper..i tried to grab it from her throat...she is a quick swallow! Little lids that fall on the floor.

Every single day is an adventure with them. Any ride in the car gets us lots of looks..they love to bark at other people in cars. I am probably the only person in the world that has a never ending audience with I take a shower, Penny pulls the curtain back, Maggie keeps trying to jump in and Katie lies on the carpet wondering when the two crazy dogs will mellow out, (if ever)

On another note. I have met some of the most amazing people in second life. Doctors, Nurses, Teachers,Professors of nurseing, and Math and Jazz Professors and a super techie girl. A German entrepreneur living in Honk Kong, and his proteges ,Agriculture Professors and one working on the study of trees and vegetation . It all seems almost impossible to believe. Some days i need a pinch to make sure its real! Each of these people are making history finding new ways to tap into students brains and think of new way of learning to make it exciting and rewarding and they have allow me and Random Cole to be a big part of this.

I have to say I still love Second Life and I'm around my 8Th year in there. Second Life is a wonderland and always will be to me. Tonight I spent time exploring a bit. I am always in awe at the wonderful possibilities. I have always thought you get what you put into Second life....the old saying Garbage in-garbage out... don't look for or bring garbage to Second Life you will be astounded how wonderful it is


If its been awhile since you explored Second life...I think its time you check it out again! Fall in love all over again!
